Established in the 18th century, Villa Maria houses a new concept in luxury accommodation. Originally designed as residential apartments, the Villa offers 35 rooms, furnished in a warm and cosy manner. Vibrate colours, elegance and style make up these spacious rooms. At the Villa Maria we offer nothing but the latest in comfort and technology: each room is air conditioned and comes equipped with en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, cable TV, telephone with direct line, mini-bar, safe. Not to mention that from selected rooms you may enjoy a gorgeous and relaxing view. The Villa is located in the middle of a beautiful park. Out of sight, the swimming pool is at guests’ disposal without any extra charge as well as the sauna, in order to enjoy your peaceful moments. Rooms:
STANDARD Classic rooms with 2 twin beds or one double bed, furnished in a modern and cosy style .
These comfortable rooms have central heating/air conditioning and come equipped with TV-SAT, telephone with direct line, mini -bar, safe. The bathroom has a shower, a hair-dryer and toiletries. From selected rooms you may see the magnificent Villa or the garden.

SUPERIOR These rooms are the example of the love for attention to detail: spacious, smartly furnished, with a beautiful view. All of them are fully equipped with all modern comforts: central heating, air conditioning, TV Cable, telephone with direct line, desk, safe, mini-bar. The en-suite bathroom comes with a shower box, hairdryer, toiletries.

ATTIC Small rooms at a very convenient rate. From the round window on the roof you may enjoy, at night time, a delightful view of the stars.
Some of them are in the main building, some are located in the adjoining Villa. Even though nice and cosy, these rooms have a normal height in the middle, but lower on the sides.


Villa Maria is located on the hills, although whithin walking distance (10/20 min) from the city centre. From every angle you may enjoy a delightful view. We areaway only 45 Km. from Florence and 50 Km. away from Pisa.

The town of Montecatini Terme is world famous for its spas, springs and thermal baths. Montecatini Alto is a lovely hilltop village, joined to the main town via a funicular railway. Montecatini (30K east of Lucca) is a wealthy and popular watering-hole lying at the foot of the Pistoian mountains. The baths and spas date back to the fourteenth century and nowadays there are nine fully-functioning 'terme' spread around the town.
Elegant, peaceful and relaxing, they make for perfect resting places. Enjoy a glass of enriched water, or take the plunge for the full treatment ... you'll be in illustrious company. Previous visitors include Rossini, Verdi, Princess Grace, Orson Welles, Clark Gable, Douglas Fairbanks and assorted European royalty. Verdi was particularly taken, searching for eternal youth each year for 25 years.
The city centre and the Parco delle Terme are delightful, and if designer shopping is your bag (the one worn by the devil, so to speak!) then you're in for a treat. Montecatini Alto is the original Montecatini settlement, lying a few hundred metres above the 'new' town. The views from here are splendid, and the delightful Piazza Giusti is home to some good bars and restaurants.

How to get to Villa Maria
By train: get off at the Montecatini Centro train station, the hotel is 4 Km away. From there, we suggest to take a taxi.
By car: Motorway A11, Florence-Pisa North, take the exit Montecatini Terme. Follow the directions to Montecatini Alto, Villa Maria is approximately 2 Km away from the exit.
By plane: Amerigo Vespucci Airport, (Florence), 45 Km; Galileo Galilei Airport, (Pisa) 55 Km. From both the airport you may use of the taxi/train/bus services.
