Sperlonga is a renowned tourist resort that overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea in one of the most scenic stretches of the Riviera of Ulysses, namely the territory that extends from the Circeo promontory to Gaeta. The historical centre, which opens onto the sea and splits this wonderful coastal region into the eastwards and the westwards sections, appears as a fascinating tangle of houses crossed by long stairways, flights of small arches in between narrow alleys, and enchanting panoramic views of the sky and the sea.
